Free Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Kickers

DO NOT waste a draft pick on a backup kicker. Use one of your last three picks to take a starting kicker, its much more important to pad your roster with an additional Running Back or Wide Reciever.

It is crazy to take a kicker anywhere in the first ten rounds. People seem to be much worse at drafting a defense really really early, but you certainly still see people taking kickers way to early.

Aaron Rodgers is staged to be the best QB in the league, expect Crosby to score about 130 points.
2 Nate Kaeding     San Diego Chargers
Led the NFL in points last season with 146. This guy is super reliable making 91% of his kicks last year.
3 Stephen Gostkowski     New England Patriots
Brady will help this guy get near the endzone.
4 Sebastian Janikowski     Oakland Raiders
This guy has one of the best legs in the league. From a fantasy football perspective, Oakland will need their kicker.
5 Matt Bryant     Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta has a strong offense that should be able to get Bryant in range often.
6 Adam Vinatieri     Indianapolis Colts
Once the leagues best kicker, he has suffered some injuries over the years, making him a fantasy football draft risk.
7 Dan Carpenter     Miami Dolphins
Unsure of Miami's ability to get in the endzone, there may be opportunity for a Fantasy year for Dan.
8 Josh Brown     St. Louis Rams
9 Neil Rackers     Houston Texans
We have always been a big fan of Rackers. Good Fantasy option.
10 David Buehler     Dallas Cowboys
11 Rob Bironas     Tennessee Titans
If defenses find away to stop Chris Johnson, Bironas will benefit with consistant field goal chances. He is predicted to score about 121 points this season.
12 Garrett Hartley     New Orleans Saints
Stepped up huge for the Saints in 2009. Harley has since skyrocketed up the fantasy rankings.

Akers goes to the 49ers after a long career in Philly.
14 Billy Cundiff     Baltimore Ravens
15 Robbie Gould     Chicago Bears
ESPN has Gould listed as a fantasy sleeper in 2010. That's right, a kicker sleeper. LOL It is a new season now, but we still can't let this go.
16 Nick Folk     New York Jets
17 Alex Henery     Philadelphia Eagles
19 Shaun Suisham     Pittsburgh Steelers
20 Josh Scobee     Jacksonville Jaguars
21 Lawrence Tynes     New York Giants
Had a comeback year in 2009, With the Giants offense looking challenged in preseason, perhaps drafting their kicker in your frantasy draft would be a wise investment.
22 Jay Feeley     Arizona Cardinals
Not a bad option for your fantasy football roster.
23 Jason Hanson     Detroit Lions
Unless it's your last pick of the fantasy draft and you have no kicker yet, leave him alone.
24 Ryan Succop     Kansas City Chiefs
24 Orlindo Mare     Carolina Panthers
With a new team again, Mare is still getting it done.
25 Ryan Longwell     Minnesota Vikings
25 Phil Dawson     Cleveland Browns
The change at QB may help Dawson get closer to the uprights.
26 Rian Lindell     Buffalo Bills
Although Buffalo's offense would need to use their kicker frequently, Lindell's stock as dropped, due to some reliability issues.
27 Jeff Reed     Pittsburgh Steelers
Always a good fantasy football option, he is consistant and had a 87% success rate last season.
28 Matt Prater     Denver Broncos
