Remember the Titans (2000)
A great movie on many levels. It embraces the fundamental element needed for a great football film, which is the transition of a struggling group of guys to a close knit team overcoming the obstacles of their lives.

Brian's Song (1971)
A Great story of Gale Sayers (Chicago Bears Running Back)

We Are Marshall (2006)
A great story about the Marshall football team tragedy and resurrection. It is hard to rank this higher than some of the classic football films, but truly a good movie.

Rudy (1993)
A fan favorite. The determination to play football for Norte Dame against all odds. The movie lacked the fundamental element of the team development to move up any further.

The Longest Yard (1974)
Great movie, Burt Reynolds in a classic comedy of a guy forced to play on the prison football team.

Knute Rockne All American (1940)
A Notre Dame Fan MUST! Ronald Reagan as George Gipp, come on man, if you havent seen this dont call yourself a football fan.

North Dallas Forty (1979)
Nick Nolte great film showing the dark side of football.

The Express (2008)
The Ernie Davis story about the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy. Tragic story of a gifted athlete, it worth watching.

The Best of Times (1986)
This is the greatest rainy sunday morning movie ever made. Taft High School football with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell.

Friday Night Lights (2004)
Story of the Odessa, Texas football team, With Billy Bob Thornton as the coach.

Everybody's All-American (1988)
The Gray Ghost! This was another good football movie with Dennis Quaid and Jessica Lange.

Invincible (2006)
Another great football movie. In time, perhaps it moves up in the ranks, but not ready to unseat the classic just yet.
